Mountain experience Waldschule Montafon (Nature Education Centre Montafon)

The Waldschule Montafon (Nature Education Centre Montafon) seeks to promote insight into the forest and the natural relationships in nature. This is why we focus on playful and perceptible learning and experiencing events directly in nature.

During a forest tour, the senses are addressed as much as comprehension, and the participants are encouraged to be active. Children and adults should be able to smell, feel, taste and hear the forest using their senses. In addition, they should be able to experience the functions of the forest during their visit. Observation and research will make them able to recognise things and act. The long-term goal is to achieve a more responsible relationship with nature.
