The church was built in 1865. It houses neo-Roman altars, paintings in the Nazarene style as well as numerous paintings (on both sides of the high altar, on the choir ceiling) by Franz and Jacob Bertle from the Bertle family of painters in Schruns. Hans Bertle (son of Jakob Bertle) created five ceiling paintings in the nave and the medallions above the windows. The carpenter Anton Bertle and the sculptor Ignaz Bertle are responsible for the design of the pulpit.
