Pfarr- und Wallfahrtskirche Tschagguns

This parish church was built between 1452 and 1454; its Gothic choir can be seen today. The church was enlarged by Johann Nepomuk Bitschnau in 1812-1814. It contains elements of the Gothic, Baroque and New Renaissance periods. Frescos in the choir and nave by Michael Anton Fuetscher (1814). Next to Rankweil and Bildstein, the church is one of the St. Mary pilgrimage sites in Vorarlberg.
